982 deaths, 7 lakh houses destroyed, lakhs homeless...
These days there has been a huge amount of devastation in Pakistan due to the ruckus of floods.About 33 million people have been affected due to floods in many parts of Pakistan's neighboring country.In which 1,456 have been injured and 982 people have died.The Shahbaz Sharif government has had to turn to the military for help in rescue and relief operations.The flood has also badly damaged houses.Pakistan's disaster management agency said that more than 3,000 km of roads, about 150 bridges and about seven lakh houses were washed away.There is a warning of heavy rain in many areas of Pakistan till August 30.
Presenting a picture of the watershed on Saturday morning, Pakistan news website Dawn wrote, "...Currently, more than half (country) is under water and lakhs have been rendered homeless as a result of flash floods triggered by abnormal monsoon rains. "
Due to this flood, more than 57 lakh people have become homeless.The Tribune reported "a deluge of death and destruction" in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Sindh provinces.It is raining continuously here.Many parts have been cut off from major roads and cities due to broken roads and bridges.This devastating flood also includes the loss of crops and livestock.
According to news agency PTI, Sindh and Balochistan are the most affected by the devastating floods in Pakistan.Pakistan's railways have suspended operations at many places in these areas.Pakistan International Airlines on Friday suspended flights to Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, due to bad weather.
